SEATTLE, WA – US started with a line up of Troy Perkins, Heath Pearce, Clarence Goodson, Chad Marshall, Steve Cherundolo, Kyle Beckerman, Robbie Rogers, Logan Pause, Stuart Holden, Charlie Davies, and Fredy Adu. Logan Pause and Stuart Holden were the debut boys. Davies, Holden, Adu and Rogers socred a goal a piece as the USA won their opening match of the tournament convincingly.
The Grenadians selected Desmond Noel, Cassim Langainge, Jason James, Marc Marshall, Byron Bubb, Ricky Charles, Kithson Bain, Anthony Modeste, Marcus Julien, Patrick Modeste, Shane Rennie.
